GOOP is Great like Gwenyth

For some reason, people think Gwenyth Paltrow is some kind of uptight beast because of her blog. Welll....if you have any brains you'll think it's actually sweet. She basically gives Martha-Stewart-quality tips and advice on how to be awesome at life. My favorite topics are by far her newsletters about cooking, diet, exercise and restaurant recommendations. Sometimes fashion (her style is a little blah for my taste) and her insight pieces on random topics (especially Friendship Divorce - a personal favorite of mine) make me really happy too.

Check It Out

In a nutshell:

1. Cooking - every recipe I've made that she's posted has been a knock-out (except for one, but that is earning its own post after this one)

2. Diet - she's devoted to Dr. Alejandro Junger's "Clean Cleanse"....I like that she's consistent.

3. Exercise - Helllllooooo?!? Tracy Anderson is the MF'ing bomb! I have a few of her DVD's and they really work, you just have to be diligent about them. My dance background shared interest and her body philosophy make sense to me, therefore, I love her.

4. Restaurants - I haven't been to any of her recommended spots - but I know she's a major foodie and I know I'll reference her when I'm traveling and needing some info on great restaurants to indulge in.

Ok, so let's cut the crap and get to the good stuff. Why post about this? Well, because. A while back I did the 7-day "Clean Cleanse" and I got super hottie from it...It's time for another cleanse and GOOP just happened to post the 21-day Clean Cleanse not too long ago. So I decided to buck up and commit. My food and diet and wanting to be as hot as possible obsessions are so ridiculous on a daily basis (mostly due to the varying degrees of nutrition commitment and "cheating" that goes on in any given day) that sometimes I think I should have a blog just dedicated to that. But whatever, let's just stick to fashion and other sickness.
